ADJ were approached by a key petrochemical client to help in the refurbishment of this fuel station in Bury
Install new asphalt and line marking
Asphalt surfacing & line marking
The aim of the project was to install asphalt at a fuel station in Bury once the new Fuel Pumps, Fuel Interceptors and Concrete hard standings had been installed and the canopy had been modified. We were required to complete the work over a Saturday and Sunday to ensure all other deadlines were met.
Our Client had excavated all the old asphalt and installed a new sub-base. We specified a new 100mm construction including an industrial surface course which is designed to be resistant to any fuel spillages. Due to the nature of the site and most fuel stations adopting a road side position, our traffic management team contacted the local authority to gain the relevant permits to install 2 way traffic lights over the entrance of the site.
Works were completed over the 2 day programme and the fuel station was reopened to the public on Monday.
